Winter 2017 Pilates Classes

These classes use the techniques of the late Joseph Pilates to increase "core strength" and develop strong elongated muscles, flexibility, power and balance. Emphasis is placed on working with good form and alignment. Our instructor for all classes is Robin Budnetz, trained by Joseph Pilates himself.

Central Queens Y offers three different Pilates classes:

Balanced Body Pilates

This class uses techniques of the late Joseph Pilates to increase "core strength" and develop strong elongated muscles, flexibility, power, and balance.

11 Thursdays, beginning Jan. 5

Pilates for Beginners

The class is designed to ease the beginner into the Pilates experience.  Modifications are offered to meet individual needs.

Late Afternoon Pilates

Join us for this fully inspired and core strengthening workout.
