Teen Travel Camp
(for Teens entering Grades 6-9)

Contact Day Camp Registrar
718-268-5011 ext. 202

Teen Camp is the perfect blend of outdoor camp activities and travel experiences. Well-trained and experienced staff will create an environment of inclusion and independence. Campers are encouraged to try new things and experience what New York has to offer. All this on air-conditioned buses while returning to the comforts of home at night.

Several times throughout the summer, campers hit the road for overnight trips. Overnight trips range in duration from 2, 3, or 4 days. Great destinations are being booked now.

Daily Trips Include: sporting events, parks, beaches, theater, fishing, historical sites, amusement and water parks.

Camp Days: Campers choose from dance, sports, arts & craft projects, nature hikes, robotics, performing arts, and sometimes just silly, messy camp fun! They will also participate in theme days, color war, carnival, guest sport specialists, and swim at the Henry Kaufmann pool complex.

Transportation and a delicious Glatt Kosher lunch and snack included daily.

A select group of teenagers looking for a positive summer work experience can apply for a position in our CIT program. CITs train for positions as future staff members while participating in a stimulating summer camp program which includes trips and inter-camp activities. Prior to acceptance into the program, applicants must undergo a personal interview and will be evaluated based on accomplishments, references, and an essay. A pre-requisite for the program is a spring training course for which a teen membership is required. Those accepted into the program be placed in any of CQY's summer camp programs. Placement is at the discretion of the directors.  Openings in this program are limited.
