SIMCHA PARTY AND FRIENDSHIP CLUB

A social club for senior adults featuring live music and refreshments. 

Free for members / $5 for non-members

Once a month we have a Simcha Party!  Enjoy live music with new and old friends over Kosher dessert and refreshment.  Bring your dancing shoes!

Sponsor a Simcha Party for your birthday!  Please contact us three weeks in advance.

Most Mondays at 12:30 pm enjoy a healthy Kosher meal with your CQY community. Bring a friend or make new ones here! Reserve your lunch with Ellen Shajnfeld the preceding Thursday by calling 718-268-5011 ext. 160.

Lunch is $4 for members / $6 non-members.

Are your fingers itchin' to knit?  Come join our group led by master knitter Elvera!  Bring your needles, crochet hooks, yarns and ideas.  All levels welcome!   All patterns tackled. All good fun, with cookies and coffee too!

TRIP TO THE JEWISH MUSEUM

The Jewish Museum on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan is the preëminent museum in the United States devoted exclusively to Jewish art and culture. The Museum’s collections comprise 25,000 items, ranging from archaeological artifacts to works by today’s cutting-edge artists. The tour encompasses the permanent exhibition, Culture and Continuity: The Jewish Journey.  It tells the story of the Jewish people through more than 800 works of art chosen from the Museum’s remarkably diverse holdings of paintings and sculpture, prints and drawings, installation art, decorative arts, antiquities, and media.

The Juilliard School seeks to provide the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians, dancers, and actors from around the world, so that they may achieve their fullest potential as artists, leaders, and global citizens. These musicians are not to be missed!
