OUR PERSONAL TRAINERSclientuploads/directory/slides/robin_budnetz.jpg

Robin Budnetz was trained as a dancer and received additional intensive one-on-one training from the late Joseph Pilates himself. She incorporates this background into her approach to personal training by placing strong emphasis on core strength with correct spinal alignment. These principles lead as she guides her clients into a long, lean and functional muscularity. She offers a particular sensitivity to the unique needs of those who are totally new to, or returning to exercise after childbirth, illness or other lapse; to those struggling with extra weight; and to seniors who want to build and maintain their strength for activities of daily living. To schedule an appointment with Robin, or any of our trainers, please contact Health & Fitness at ext. 500.

Ziggy Chador began his fitness career as a Physical Education teacher and Martial Arts Master of Kick-boxing in his native Poland. He left Poland to continue his higher education in the United States and while completing his Master Degrees, he worked at the Central Queens Y as our Activities Supervisor for Children’s Sports Programs. After eight years at the CQY he changed his focus and became an Adaptive Physical Education teacher for the NYC Board of Education. Ziggy never left his association with the CQY, his dedication to fitness and training, or his compassion. He continues to work as a personal trainer at the CQY as well as at exclusive clubs in Manhattan, providing effective training programs for clients of all levels and conditions. Ziggy has an M.S. in Sports Rehab and Exercise Physiology, as well as one in Fitness Exercise. He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise.
