In appreciation of the challenging economic times, we are very pleased to inform you that for this year there will be no program fee increase to you from last year!  Our hope is that freezing our rates will help to express our appreciation to you for being a part of the Kids Korner family.

Register by June 25th for the Fall, and those paying the regular rate will see their Kids Korner fee reduced!!!

Spend your afternoons at Kids Korner, our weekday afterschool program for children in grades K-6. Your child will enjoy a program that is individually designed to meet your family's needs. Children are grouped in age appropriate settings and can choose various clubs to participate in each semester. The afterschool program provides a safe and nurturing environment for your child to sample from a wide array of activities.

• The after school activities program runs daily. Program hours are Monday through Thursday 3:00- 6:30PM and Friday 3:00-6:00 PM.
• Please note that November 9th is the first half-day of the school year!  However, our program will start at the usual time. Please remember that, unless you arrange for the bus to return to your child's school at the normal dismissal time, there will be no bus service on half days!
• Bus service pick up is available from: PS 99, 101,144,174,175,196, 220, 303, 499 and Our Lady of Mercy.
• A daily snack program is provided.
• A quiet homework room, computer lab and tutors are available to assist your child with their homework.
• A huge selection of clubs including: Swimming, Judo, Gymnastics, Dance, Kids Korner Press, Puppet Theater, and much more!

Beginning/Intermediate Guitar

Grade K-6   THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL

An easy way for beginners to learn to play guitar for fun and enjoyment.  Learn basic songs, chords, melody and theory. Intermediate students will further their music education through learning chords and advanced techniques. Each student must have his/her own guitar. To register call ext. 203.

12 Tuesdays beginning April 9
(Grades K-6) 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
(Grades 3-6)  5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Arts and Crafts

Grade K-6   THIS CLASS IS STILL OPEN

Enjoy a fun-filled adventure through a wide variety of art projects. From painting to puppets, if your child loves art, they will love these hands-on projects. To register please call ext. 203.

Clay Workshop

Grade K-6   THIS CLASS IS NOW FULL

Creative expression is our goal!  Explore the possibilities of clay with coil, slab, pinching, sculpting and glazing methods. Children will be aided in developing their skills on an individual basis. To register call ext. 203.

4:00 to 5:00 p.m. or  5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
