Individual Computer Instruction

Sign up for one-on-one computer classes and work with a student from Forest Hills High School, who will provide you with individual instruction.  For more information, contact ext 621

Project Posterity

Create meaningful contact and interact with the younger generation!  Project Posterity is a wonderful program which connects senior adults and Forest Hills High School students.  This program allows you to share your life experiences with teenagers and provides an opportunity to teach, learn from, and engage with students.  For more information, please contact ext 160.




Drama Workshop

To be or not to be?  That ain't the question.  Take action!  You've long suspected you have hidden talent.  Now's the time to bring it out. Workshop taught by actor Scott Klavan, who has performed on Broadway in Irena’s Vow with Tovah Feldshuh, on Off-Broadway and on TV.  A lifetime member of The Actors Studio, Scott also teaches at the 92nd Street Y, Manhattan JCC, and JASA.  For a printable flyer to share, click here!

Acrylic Painting and Drawing Workshop

Using acrylics, watercolors, and/or charcoal, explore the many approaches to creating your own works of art.  Open to all levels.  No experience necessary – just a desire to be creative and have a good time!  Taught by Sandy Izhakoff, experienced artist and teacher.   Materials will be provided.

Mixed-Media Art Workshop

Looking to brush up on the language of the Torah?  Hebrew Ulpan is designed to teach adults the basic language skills of conversation, writing and comprehension. Learn and retain information in a supportive environment.  No matter your ability, we have a level for you!

Not just the Horah!  Learn the steps of Israeli dancing, both traditional and modern, and learn some international folk dancing as well. It's great exercise, too!
