The Jewish Heritage Library is a free public library of Jewish culture, open to the public for borrowing. The library covers all aspects of Jewish culture, including Jewish literature, children's books, Israeli literature in Hebrew and in English, Jewish history, and the Holocaust. The library also includes an outstanding international collection of Jewish films on video and DVD.
For over a decade, the library has hosted author events with world class Jewish authors, bringing to the community authors such as Amos Oz, A.B. Yehoshua, and Aharon Appelfeld, three of Israel's top authors, as well as U.S. Mideast Peace Negotiator Dennis Ross, journalist Pete Hamill, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and Robert Meeropol (son of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg).
