SWIM CLASSES POLICIES

  1. Parents may view the first and last lessons of the semester only. Parents on the deck create a distraction for your child as well as the teacher. We want to minimize the distraction so your child is better able to focus and learn more. This policy does not apply to the classes where parents are in the water with their children.
  2. Please: All parents are required to take off their shoes when bringing their children onto the pool deck. All the children will be barefoot and we would like to keep the pool deck as clean as possible.
  3. Every child over five years of age must wear a swimming cap.
  4. All infants are required to wear a swimming diaper and a bathing suit.
  5. Each participant is allowed only one make-up per session. That make-up must be completed before the last class of the session.
  6. CLASS REFUND POLICY: Before first class is held, 90% refund minus $20 administrative fee. After the first class is held, 50% refund minus $20 administrative fee. Non-Member registration fee is non-refundable.

In order to keep our aquatic program safe, please do not allow your children to swim after the class has ended. Thank you for your cooperation and have a great season.

Our professional teachers use unique teaching methods to help infants, children, and adults learn to swim. There are five levels in our program, offering a wide variety of activities. Skills taught in the course include: personal safety, diving safety and stroke skills, and are designed to stimulate interest and motivate students to advance to the next level. In order to get the most out of your lessons, please try to arrive early and be ready to get into the water at the start of your swimming lesson.

"My sons had swimming lessons here, and they were great.  The teachers were sensitive and did not push you to do things that might scar your child.  They were very empathetic to my children.  They seem to have lots of other interesting activities, but my experience is in beginners swimming classes. So I liked this place."  Review posted on Yelp! by Stephen B. of Rego Park
