TOUR OF LINCOLN CENTER

TRIP TO HISTORIC GREEN-WOOD CEMETERY
with Art Historian Harry Weil

Thursday, October 26, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Everybody loves a great story, and Brooklyn’s historic Green-Wood Cemetery has many of New York’s best stories to tell. Join us for a tour with the Director of Programs, our very own past art history teacher, Harry Weil. Founded in 1838, Green-Wood has earned an international reputation for its beauty. Many of New York’s most famous and infamous are buried here, along with their colorful stories and dark secrets. Bring your brown bag lunch.

$15 for tour / $8 additional for van.

Advance registration is required. Space is limited, so register early!

 

TRIP TO COOPER HEWITT MUSEUM

The Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum is the only museum in the country devoted exclusively to historic and contemporary design. Come join us for a tour of this fascinating collection!

TRIP TO THE 9/11 MEMORIAL & MUSEUM

On September 11, 2011, a dedication ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks was held at the Memorial; it opened to the public the following day.  The Museum was dedicated on May 15, 2014 and opened on May 21. Three months after its opening, the memorial had already been visited by over a million people.

We hope you will be able to join us for this moving experience.

JUILLIARD CONCERTS

The Juilliard School seeks to provide the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians, dancers, and actors from around the world.  Through a generous Gluck Fellowship, the Juilliard School arranges performances at community centers throughout New York City.  We are privileged to be a host organization, and look forward to enjoying many performances throughout the academic year.
